Stepped on my first Roach and got attacked by one. They run so fast and are so unpredictable!

The girls jumped on top of the play house to get out of the roaches way!

One thing the Coombs are very good at is BBQing! They love a good get-together full of food and fun!

And there's a good reason I don't make potato salad. I love it-especially Leora's!

What a crazy fun day! We were up and out of the hotel by 8 so we could to the Coombs Ward breakfast. Then off to see grandma's new house.

They obviously need to add more dancing to ward breakfasts.

Yes, grandma. I am four inches taller than you slouching down. It just happens when I'm sleeping.

 Grandma and Grandpa missed having a little bit of green in their yard so grandpa "installed" a bit of 'turf' in the backyard. In New Mexico it's called grass; in Utah it's called plastic ground cover.

Goodbye to Albuquerque 220 miles to Las Cruces!

We are about 45 minutes outside of Albuquerque and making good time but Anja's used up everything in my bag of tricks. Worried about the last 300 miles.

Life as a Coombs is Back..

So I figured out how to do this from my phone and, more importantly, how to link my laptop, home computer and phone to the blog..making it so much easier to use. So, because some of my wonderful family members don't have FB accounts--I'll post. Why now? On a Tuesday morning at 2:44 a.m.? Because I can't sleep. We are venturing out on a 900 mile odyssey tomorrow and I'm very anxious. Not like I wont have time to sleep then! So, I'm taking up my keyboard again and resurrecting my blog. Welcome back--
