We got back from the doctor's office and I had to post Anja's stat's for the grandparents. As parents we use these strange "average" bell curve things to base our child's growth, weight and general progression into adulthood. Here's what I knew before we went in:
1. Anja is tall for her age, but has more dexterity than the average two year old (explanation: survival. With two big brothers you have to keep up)
2. She weights more than the average two year old (explanation: She eats everything)
3. She will not be afraid of the shots (explanation: she could care less if there is a sucker involved)
Here's the doc's point of view--
1. 27.4 lbs (60-percentile)--Jensen weights 40lbs
2. 35.5 inches (90-percentile, more Bywater, less Coombs)--Jensen is 45.5 inches
3. conversation with Dr. Brian:
Anja: "I want that."
Dr. B: "Want what?"
Anja: "That necklace." (mom explanation: the stethoscope)
Shots-- Anja watched the nurse put a needle in both legs without a flinch or cry. however, when we walked out and had to choose just one Tinkerbell sticker, there was a full out tantrum worthy of every one's attention.

Can we borrow some of her braveness when it's shot time at our house? So who's going to cause you more trouble... her or her big brothers put together? Good thing she's a cutie pie :)
