Jensen participated in his spring recital this weekend. I would post the actual playing but his pieces are getting longer and it would take too long to download on blogger. Sorry, grandpa. He did well but I can't help but feel like these recitals are held to kick the mom's butts in gear by showing us how well all the OTHER mom's kids are doing. Jensen Spring Concert
Jensen participated in his spring recital this weekend. I would post the actual playing but his pieces are getting longer and it would take too long to download on blogger. Sorry, grandpa. He did well but I can't help but feel like these recitals are held to kick the mom's butts in gear by showing us how well all the OTHER mom's kids are doing. Crap, one more thing to feel guilt over.

You said he did well. You were there to support him (he is so cute looking up like he is searching for extra courage in his white shirt and tie) I'd say you get an A+ mom!
It is all in the way you look at it! Think about us moms that don't even have our children enrolled in ANYTHING! If there were ever a Game Boy Event we might do "OK" or a Spongebob Squarepants Marathon or even a SBSQ Jeopardy episode we could score some points! The guilt is tremendous and highly unnecessary!!
