Library quest

I finally got my boys their own library cards. I know, we're slow. But it's all I can do to keep
track of my own books and fines without adding their cards to the mix.

Just to reinforce the difference between my boys, here are their lists:

Carter:
Star Wars: Best Battles
How to fold the prefect paper airplane
couple of comic books

Jensen's books (and reasons he said he choose them):
Anatomy of a Shark (they scare me but maybe I'll like them more if I understand them better)
How to live in Antarctica (because everyone should know how to survive there in case your airplane goes down on your way to vacation)

A Day in the life of a Penguin (Just wanted it)
How Flying Machines Work (maybe I'll learn to fly one day)
China (It's on my summer to do list)
Harry Potter #2 (my favorite)

Anja:
Every princess book she could find..all of which we've checked out and paid enough fines on to have purchased...

I know you're all waiting for that Antarctica book. It will be back on the shelves in two weeks.

I love to read. I probably down a book every week or so. But now that Carter is back in school I read the book he's reading so I can help him write his book reports. This week I am reading Frankenstein. Not a book I had any desire to read or will ever reread by choice. But, I have to admit there's something fun about having your own personal book club discussion with your 10 year old over dinner. I also picked up Tuck Everlasting, I still cry when I get to the end.

Jared's brother wintered over in Antarctica three years in a row so if Jensen ever wants to meat anyone who lived there let me know.
