FEET!

Carter has a little part time job working at the Bywater's on the weekend. I think they pay too much but papa says he gets to choose and it's his right as the grandpa. So on Friday's Carter heads over and mows the law and works in the pond. This weekend grandma noticed Carter's toes at the end of his Nike's purchased in September.

After I picked him up I noticed they were looking too small too--but still in great shape. The old pair were a 5.5 size, half a size big to allow for growth. Yesterday the Nordstrom lady measured him at a 7! Who grows that much in six months besides a baby? Really? This is the last size before going into the adult sizes. I expected big feet (my brother Scott wears some ridiculous size like a 20 and is 6'4. Mat wears a normal size but is 6'1 and my dad is an average 6 foot guy. Rich has average sized feet and the Coombs aren't particularly tall and have small feet) so I was expecting some growth as we approached those teen years--but at 11!!

So we are off today to another store to find new church shoes and maybe soccer shoes. YIKES!
