Piano Recital--Anja's first!

Jensen was not happy with his song this time around. I don't know why. He's getting funny. He did stumble in the middle which is not like him. Maybe that's why. He did well regardless. He played two songs but only this one showed up on the camera. I must have screwed it up. Sorry grandma's.
I about died when he sat at the piano and I saw his pants. Jensen is growing but not that fast! Can you see the flood? He picked up a pair of pants two sizes too small I had left in a pile to be donated and put them on. I didn't even see what he had done until he was up there. He could have cared less but it's one of those things I swore I would never do-- send my kids to church (or anywhere dress in their church clothes) that are too small. I hate it! So here it is on display for all to see. My bad! Some new church pants are headed your way Tarina!!

Anja was up after Jensen and was so excited! One three weeks of lessons so we only know one note. But, it was important to her to perform. She was so cute. Her sweet piano teacher helped her so I could record her one note played to the pattern of "dirty doggy scrub scrub."

She's the youngest student Ms. Julie has. She's doing well and we've got down a few more notes since the recital.
Piano is expensive and takes a lot of our time. I'm not the best piano mom but we are diligent. It's a big check to write each month--especially with two--but thanks to my wonderful husband who supports it. Good job, Anja and Jensen!
