The peas arrived at the end of June. Jensen has been watching the vines like a starving child (maybe his body is starving for veggies). He picked the first pod and told us it was safe to gorge ourselves. We tripled the amount of peas we planted this year to make sure everyone had enough to eat. It worked. We had wonderful, sweet, healthy peas for about three weeks. By July 10th they were going "bad" (loosing the sweetness) so we picked a bunch and dried the peas so we'll have plenty to pick in the fall.
